Lead-Opportunity
Leads, Opportunities
Leads and opportunities are all ongoing processes with customers that have not yet led to an offer. There can be any number of different opportunities for each customer/prospect.
The type of contact ranges from loose contact, e.g. as the addressee of a mailing campaign, to ongoing acquisition processes with, for example, demo and visit appointments.
Once the customer contact has progressed to the point where a concrete offer is created, the opportunity is converted into an offer and processing of the opportunity is blocked.
The following toolbar is displayed in the Opportunities tab:

Creating an opportunity with the selection of the address. If the opportunity was accidentally created for the wrong address, this can be changed by selecting a new address of the type customer/prospect in the Addresses sub-tab. An easier way to create a new opportunity is to open the desired address and click on the icon for creating an opportunity in its toolbar.
